designed to whet the appetite for the main course but, even so,
many of them can be quite rich. I have tried to give here
recipes for only the most healthy starters but which still
provide as much variety as possible. When planning your menus
don't forget the importance of balance. For example, if you are
having a cold dessert made primarily of fresh fruit, don't also
choose to make a fresh fruit starter!
